Mother's Day

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day and were able to show your mother how much you appreciate her.  My mother is on a trip to see her mother, so I called her this morning to wish her a Happy Mother's Day.

Knowing that I had no Mother's Day plans after church, I grabbed some of the kids running around and asked about their plans for day today.

My daughter is the one that says she will not be doing anything with her mother today. She did spend time with her mom. I guess she just didn't know she would at the time.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

  1. That's hilarious. Yes, you can't count each flower of a bouquet, but handmade flowers count extra.

...I love that one of the kids loves her mom 90%. That's honesty! Sometimes you're too mad to feel the love.

    1. That's the same little girl that did the April Fool's video a few weeks ago.

I got over run with kids wanting to be in the video. I couldn't use all the footage I shot.

  2. Both hilarious and adorable. My mom was watching it with me and she agrees.

    1. Thank you. I didn't know what I would get from the kids, but they gave me great material to work with.

  4. "I made her an 'I Luhs You' book."

    "An 'I Love You' book?"

"No, an "I Luhs You' book."

Very nice post, Brett. Well, 90% nice.

    1. Glad you liked it. I had 5 times as many kids wanting to be in the video. I ran out of memory and had to send them away.

    2. Father's Day is coming up.

I almost cringe to tell you but I've switched names again. I'm normal, I promise.

    3. I've already got an idea for Father's Day, but I had so much fun with this video, I may have to incorporate another one.

Is that your picture in your icon?

    1. That's how it goes. Sometimes kids are great, other times, they get locked in the basement.

    1. Thank you. I wasn't feeling very creative, so I didn't write anything. I just kept the kids do it for me. It was easier than writing, although the editing takes a while.

  9. Did you just scoop up neighborhood kids and film them?
I really loved the short haired girl with the purple shirt. She had just the right amount of attitude.

    1. That girl is my niece and the attitude is always there.

I was at church that morning and kept pulling kids into a side room to ask them the questions.

"Huh, a present." Duh, you silly man.

Did one girl mistakenly say that she was going to eat her mom????

    1. Yes, she did. That was my daughter. She was eating as cookie during the process and her words kept coming out wrong.

  11. I wish I could tell my wife I love her 90% when she makes me mad. The honesty of children, you cannot top it.

  12. If you keep posting stuff like this no one will believe that you do not like children. I love all those kids except RR and then only 90%!!!

  13. Ah your daughter is beautiful! as I'm sure you know. Just adorable. Lovely.

You know, your voice sounds to me just like the guy in The Dark Knight who tells the boatman that the other boat has to sink. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEqfzr-5dBY Minute 1:30
