Happy Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Remember to enjoy your family as the following photo ad from 1926 suggests because they could die. Don't you love holiday cheer from the Great Depression?

Get a picture of Grandpa...he doesn't look so good.

From everyone here at the Transformed Nonconformist, have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving.

By everyone, I really just mean me. I don't actually have a staff. It just sounded better that way. I don't make any money off this blog myself. How would you expect me to pay other people? Plus, it's not like this blog requires that much maintenance. What would I even have a staff do other than keep me company. Of course, that would be more of a distraction than anything else. You know what? This year, I am thankful I don't have a staff. They would probably want to talk to me and stuff.

  1. hahaha By "everyone", I assumed you meant you and maybe your daughter, but probably just you. Thank you for clearing that up though. I am also thankful I don't have a staff because that seems like a lot of work.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Thank you. It would be a lot of work and then there's the holiday parties and I hate doing that 'Secret Santa' thing. I always draw the person I hate the most.

  2. My staff includes all the voices in my head. My posts depend on which voice wins the cage match. That's why my blog has no category for me to tell people what my blog is about. I think the next match is about to begin. Happy thanksgiving Brett. And yes it's great to be back.

    1. It's hard for me to pin down what mine is about as well. Basically, whatever I feel like writing about that day.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

  3. That's a fun old illustration using grandpa to sell cameras. I hope you have a peaceful and joyous Thanksgiving.

    1. I did. I slept through half of it because of my third shift job, but Red came in to town was here for the period that I was awake.

      I hope yours was wonderful.

  4. I'm laughing so much from the final disclaimer that I can't remember what else I wanted to say!

I love the first shot...that cute adorable, axe-murdering, big-eyed little boy... yeah.

Did anyone else notice "have a few extra film ready"? Does that sound like poor grammar?

You should do these more often. Not all the time...I'm just saying, the cute short funny adds some good variety. Now it's time to wake up and have a yummy treat I made while you were asleep.

    1. They make for short easy posts. They are usually born out of me playing on the internet and finding things that I think are funny.
