I hear the hookers fight back in this one. |
Every now and then, I buy a new game while thinking about how much fun it will be. Half the time, it never even gets put in the system. When I actually do play a game, I will play for 2 or 3 days straight and then not play another game for months.
I must not love video games as much as I thought or I would be making time for them.

Maybe it's just a side effect of being an adult that you lose the ability to play video games for long periods of time. I used to be a champ at it, and I still love it, but my kids run circles around me with their video game endurance.
ReplyDeleteI believe that is it. I just don't have time any more. I have too many other pressing things. If I do sit down to play, I end up feeling guilty for wasting time.
DeleteI know basically nothing about video games and I never play them, which is probably one of the reasons I know almost nothing about them. Making video games, though? That's crazy.
ReplyDeleteI have written about how I was a nerd. I meant it.
DeleteI'm a dedicated World of Warcraft player myself. Level 90 Troll Mage!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of friends who play. I have never played that game. I would probably like it too much and get fired.
DeleteI don't like video games at all but I am amazed by people who can create them. You must have a remarkable talent and maybe creating games is more fun for you rather than playing them. Just chiming in from the A-Z Challenge. Happy blogging!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see how it is done today. It was much simpler then.
DeleteI am a video game fan but only with certain ones. My son and I are on year 2 of the Lego Harry Potter game on our Wii. I do like Wii Party as well. I go through phases of gaming and not touching it at all.
ReplyDeleteMy nephews love the LEGO games.
DeleteI never got into video games but I know many people who enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI've always liked them. I played my share when I was younger.
DeleteWell, I used to play video games all the time, but then one day I just quit and that was the end of that. You love them, but you also said you don't have the time.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. ☺
Yeah. Maybe once I graduate, I will be able to play more.
DeleteWe used to have guys at work who would take the week off when I new GTA game came out. Is that you?
ReplyDeleteWhen GTA III came out, I think my eyes were attached to the screen for a week.
DeleteI love me some video games... But when I get addicted, watch out! Lest we forget the Left for Dead Fiasco of 2010.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Valerie
Left for Dead is awesome.
