My Photography

This page will be up and running very soon. I plan to use it to showcase some of my photography.

Photo #001 - Kirsten at a covered bridge in Bridgeton, IN.

This picture of my daughter was taken in a covered bridge in Bridgeton, IN. We drove to Indiana that day with one of her friends to visit with a college friend of mine and get pictures of the covered bridges that are in the surrounding counties.

The picture has obviously been photoshopped to give it a more antique photo look. I darkened the background shadows and focused the light to her dress and face to accent the colors. After burning the edges and scratching the rest, I was very happy with the result.

Unfortunately, the camera I was using included a time stamp on every picture that day, that I did not notice until I got home to look at the photos. I just haven't taken the time to remove them yet. More pictures to come.

Picture #002 - HDR effect

This one one required a lot of work after the initial picture. I was trying to accomplish the gritty look of an HDR camera without spending the money for one. I am very pleased with the result.
